After graduating from the renowned Italian State High School [Istituti Medi Italiani, (I.M.I.)] in Istanbul, MSc. Architect Emin Can Aygölü, completed his bachelor’s degree in architecture at the Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts in 1985. Soon after, he started gaining practical experience while working in various offices in Istanbul until deciding to move to Paris where he earned his master’s degree as a project architect. Between 1991 and 1995, his professional career began to take shape as he worked for IBM Turkey as a project manager. Without delay, in 1995, he founded his own office which was later named “Arta Architecture Co., Ltd.”. Correspondingly, his company proved to be a success and countless brands and personal clients (listed under references) kept preferring his work as he began having creative freedom and independence in his own business. What makes his work reputable and preferable is his contemporary vision and unique artistic approach that comprise the ability to blend a great number of architectural styles. In this manner, it is no coincidence that in 2013 and 2014, he was asked to teach as an honorary guest lecturer at the Gebze Technical University. Currently, Aygölü continues working as a professional project architect and as a mentor for his employees and newcomers.
